Year for Priests: June 19, 2009-June 19, 2010
Pope Benedict XVI has declared a “Year for Priests” beginning with the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome with an international gathering of priests with the Holy Father on June 19, 2010. Please visit our resource page for more information. The Annual Pastoral Appeal is an opportunity to educate the faithful of the Diocese of St. Petersburg about the ministries of our Church and obtain your support for these ministries benefitting every parish and our community.
The Appeal raises approximately 68% of the support needed for all the liturgical, faith formation, parish support, educational and service ministries benefitting hundreds of thousands of people annually in our five -county area. More information is available onthe APA page. |
